Our Mission and Vision

ourmission

At Our Lady Help of Christians our mission is to be

ONE OF GOD'S PLACES

A Place of Faith ~ modelling ourselves on Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother Mary

A Place of Love ~ through inclusion and respect

A Place of Learning ~ through striving for excellence

motto

The motto of our school, Seek Wisdom, Love God, originates from the first reading for the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians, Year A. Ecclesiasticus 4:11-18 God loves those who love wisdom.

vision

Our shared vision aims to empower students, staff, parents, parish members and the wider community to live a loving life nurtured by their Catholic faith and in which learning is seen as vital and life-long.

Our shared vision is one in which children will come to deepen their faith, to know that they are created and infinitely loved by God, and to know and understand that their greatest friend and teacher is Jesus Christ.

Our shared vision is one in which our school is a place of great love, where each person, regardless of race, colour, gender, family background or academic ability, is treated with respect and dignity. In our school we strive to develop a sense of compassion and concern for the poor and less fortunate of this world and to promote Jesus as model for how to love one another.

Our shared vision is one in which all stakeholders value quality Catholic learning and teaching, where parents and staff work in collaboration to ensure that all children achieve success academically and develop positive relationships with other members of our school parish community as well as the wider community.

To bring this vision to fruition it takes a dedicated staff and effective communication involvement and contributions of all stakeholders in working together to further enhance the reality of our shared vision.

We look forward to working in true partnership with all members of our parish school community.

Yours in faith, love and learning,

The Staff of Our Lady Help of Christians, Rosemeadow
